Just wanted to let ya all know that I'm not going to bail on the server, even though it's been impossible to fill up -- just have to rethink how we're going to be using it.  Things have definitely changed since the ol' days, when a server would fill up with pubbies once we got 7 or 8 people. 

Now, I really don't see the pubbies filling it up for us, no matter how good a start we make for ourselves.  Looking around, I've seen servers dying down during the busy hours, even with 20-odd ...

Send me your steam id's if you want admin access.  I have different tiers so I can give something to almost anybody, but your clearance does depend on you demonstrating good admin judgement.  You can rack up judgement points using combinations of the following griefer destroying attacks:

-- Kicking asshats

-- Muting mike spammers

-- Gagging (removing chat) from people that type SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT       IIIIIIIIIIIII...

I've decided I'm finally in a stable enough position, money-wise and life-wise, that I can get a TF2 server for us.  It's going to take some research still, but I'm going to pay for it and do the better part of the administration myself.

I'm interested in any information anybody might have for me on the matter, because I haven't been interested or involved in the running of TF2 servers for about a year.  What's the best place to get one?  What are the plug ins you want to have to make...
